SECTIONS.TOURISM.SHEET.DESCRIPTION
Nestled in a meander of the Vézère river, the Cingle cliffs and hill dominate Les Eyzies. Occupied since time immemorial by man, and well known for its heritage interest, this site is also home to a great diversity of wild plants.
The Conservatoire Botanique National Sud-Atlantique invites you to discover the flora of the site. Moving from the steep, shady slopes to the sunny lawns of the summit, we'll also come across a wide variety of species on our way, such as the Arabette des Alpes (a mountain relict) and the Stéhéline (Mediterranean species).
Please bring walking shoes (steep terrain), water and appropriate clothing, depending on weather conditions.
Places are limited. Reservations required.
