She, her mouth scribbled red, her hair a mess, her grandfather's shirt, gruff-tender, impertinent, unpredictable and so endearing. He, two big black spots enveloping his big eyes in nostalgia, twirling, elastic, lunar... An Auguste and a Pierrot, two companions of misfortune and poetry who land from who knows where to pay a fleeting visit to this strange world of the living. For over an hour, they search for each other, find each other, and play off each other with ferocity and tenderness. For "Au Bonheur Des Vivants", they draw as much inspiration from Gaston Lagaffe as from Magritte, from the Addams Family as from Murnau, Marcel Aymé and Fritz Lang.
