After a time in the classroom, where you'll learn about the notions of ancient and old-growth forests and the associated biodiversity issues, participants, accompanied by a project manager from the Conservatoire d?espaces naturels de Nouvelle Aquitaine, will set off in search of these forests.
Are there any left in the region? What do they look like? An opportunity to learn more about the need to preserve these forests and how to recognize them. Who knows, you might even spot some dead...
