6km from Eyzies on the Montignac-Lascaux route, Préhisto-Parc is a prehistory interpretation centre covering an area of 5 ha. You will see large-scale scenes of the daily life of Neanderthal man up to the time of Cro-Magnon man, with sound effects, very scientifically designed with the Human Paleontology Institute based on the latest research. Men chasing mammoths or cutting up a reindeer, family around their home; you will get an insight into the way of life, knowledge and customs of our ancestors. Your visit becomes even more accurate with activities, particularly evening activities in summer, demonstrations of flint carving and fire-making, and the opportunity to try shooting.
