Les Abeilles du Périgord

In the heart of the Périgord Noir, in a verdant setting between La Bachellerie and Montignac, just off the Lascaux caves, Jacques Laugénie, apiarist, invites you to share his passion and discover the secret life of bees: how they are raised, pollination, honey production and more. This educational, fun, free tour of the honey farm lasts for approximately one hour and is followed by a tasting. Open every day in July and August from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. You may also see the honey being extracted every Tuesday and Thursday during the summer season.
