Journées du patrimoine - Parc départemental de Campagne

The exhibition "Carte blanche à Monif Ajaj" will be on view during the Journées du Patrimoine, in the presence of the artist, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on September 20 and 21, 2025. Under the Syrian regime, his creations quickly took a committed turn, denouncing the dictatorship and violence of an oppressive system.
In 2012, he returned to his French wife in the Dordogne, and continued to paint so as not to forget: through a sharp gesture, inks, charcoals, oils and acrylics convey wounds that won't close.
