This is the percentage of similarity between the genomes of Homo sapiens and his cousin the chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes), a figure that testifies to our close kinship, but in no way explains the differences in cognitive abilities between the two species. In the light of the latest scientific data, we'll try to understand why and how the human brain has become so extraordinary.
