Synopsis
In late 17th-century England, Mrs. Herbert asks Mr. Neville, a renowned landscape painter, to draw twelve pictures of her husband?s estate. In return, she agrees to let the artist enjoy her favors. Mr. Neville accepts the deal, only to realize too late that he has been used for an entirely different purpose.
